Don t open your umbrella

Opening your umbrella may keep raindrops from Heaven from falling upon you. 

In reality, Chirst is always by you, waiting to help you when you ask. 

Miracles are always there.

In our most difficult times,  Chirst carries us. He loves us beyond our comprehension.

We can do all things through Christ. Strong evidence of this when teenager stops to write a talk, though he usually only plays video games.

As you read John 9, ponder how the “works of God [were] made manifest” in the life of the man born blind. How have they been made manifest in your life—including in your afflictions?

I could not have gone through all my difficulties in life without the Lord s guidance and strength and protection. I KNOW that is true

perspective

People saw Jesus and some would draw opposite conclusions from every act they saw. Good man for healing others. Bad man for doing it on the Sabbath. 

protection from enemies

...have been kept from falling into the hands of your enemies, even so if ye shall keep the commandments of my son, or the commandments of God which shall be delivered unto you by him, ye shall prosper in the land, and your enemies shall have no power over you. Mosiah 2:31

I remember looking up scriptures about protection from enemies when we had the hostile buyout in Bend and when divorcing.  We truly are protected.

temple template

We need to model our lives to the template of the temple. Temple work is a selfless act for others.

Fitting in the spiritual into our schedules

Luke 10:38–42.Is it ever difficult to fit spiritual things into your family’s schedule? The story of Mary and Martha could inspire a family council or home evening about how to do this better. As a family, you could make a list of ways to choose “that good part” (Luke 10:42).

Easter hope

Price of hope: pride, insensitivity, control, anger, meanness,
